Brandon had won three straight home games and Lynnon Rhodes did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Meridian Wildcats 3-0 for which the team can thank Rhodes, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Brandon was: they took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-5, 25-7.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brandon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ivy Bankston, who had six digs and two aces.
They weren't the only good server: Brandon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Brandon's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Meridian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
