Cam Hunt Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Thursday, Hopewell got the W thanks in part to Cam Hunt playing the best football he has all season. Hunt rushed for 272 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (115.7). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.

Lawrence Hewlett Jr. produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Prince George to the win on Friday. Hewlett Jr.'s rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 55 yards.
The win got Prince George back to even at 3-3. Hewlett Jr. and Prince George will look to defend their home field on Friday against Colonial Heights at 7:00 p.m.

While Meadowbrook might've come up empty on Friday, Devin Carter wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Carter was still balling out as he picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown.

A Season-Best Performance from Dillon Newton-Short Leads Matoaca over Thomas Dale
Matoaca was led to victory by Dillon Newton-Short, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Newton-Short picked up 200 receiving yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 84 yards.
