Fayette Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clay Anderson, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Harris Armour, who scored 19 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Fayette Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for Central Baptist, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fayette Academy will take on Lakeland Preparatory at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeland Preparatory is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Central Baptist, they will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
