The Homer Trojans lost against the Chittenango Bears back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The contest between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Homer falling 54-38. They have not had much luck with Chittenango recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
It was another big night for Ryan Moesch, who scored 40 points for Chittenango. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which Moesch has scored at least a third of Chittenango's points. Jack Lamphere was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Homer's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Chittenango, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homer will take on Norwich at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chittenango, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Syracuse-Minoa at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
