Liberty Christian stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Everything went their way against Wilson Christian Academy as Liberty Christian made off with a 66-44 win. Given Liberty Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Chargers are ranked 615th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Carolina M was beaten by the Colts 67-19 on Friday. Carolina M was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-8.
Liberty Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Carolina M, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
Everything came up roses for Liberty Christian against the Mustangs in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 66-24 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
