Forest extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday, bumping them up to 7-0. They really took it to the Crystal River Pirates for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-43 win. With the Wildcats ahead 45-25 at the half, the game was all but over already.

As for Crystal River, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games.

Loss or not, Crystal River got some senior leadership from Colton Cooper and Jake Yost. Cooper went 5-for-6 on his way to 11 points and seven boards, while Yost posted 12 points and five assists. Cooper is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Tyler Capozziello was another key player, putting up seven points.

Forest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-36 defeat against North Marion on the 12th. Crystal River has also already played their next game (against Umatilla), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
