Basketball Recap: Sky View Piles Up the Points Against West Field

Sky View won the last time they faced West Field and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sky View Bobcats blew past the West Field Longhorns 53-22. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Sky View to victory were Mollee Allen and Claire Fischer. Allen dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds, while Fischer dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. Those 15 boards gave Allen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brylee Burnside, who posted five points and seven rebounds.

Sky View smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Sky View has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for West Field, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
