The Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Tiftarea Academy Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Central Fellowship Christian Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tiftarea Academy in Georgia (Central Fellowship Christian Academy is ranked ninth, while Tiftarea Academy is ranked 224th).
Last Friday, Central Fellowship Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Deerfield-Windsor, but they still walked away with a 48-44 victory.
Central Fellowship Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Kennedy Bradshaw , who scored 17 points, and Kiersten Rogers, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Rogers hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Riley, who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Tiftarea Academy's 19-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southwest Georgia Academy on Thursday.
John Milledge Academy's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Central Fellowship Christian Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 6-1.
