Vestaburg suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They were beaten by St. Louis 62-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Vestaburg has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Vestaburg had strong showings from Lily Johnston, who scored nine points, and Megan Beetley, who scored six points. That was a full 45% of Vestaburg's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Carson City-Crystal's 17-5 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were dealt a 50-14 defeat at the hands of Merrill on Friday.
Vestaburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Carson City-Crystal, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
