Gavin Howard Drops League-Best Effort on Saturday
Starting off the list is Miami-Yoder's Gavin Howard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Saturday Howard rushed for 367 yards and six touchdowns on only eight carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 69 yards.

He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions both of which were returned for touchdowns.

Mo Hussein's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his third-straight game with 146+ rushing yards. He made eight total tackles and defended a pass. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending a pass.
For the year, Hussein has averaged 10.6 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he had six rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 12.

A Season-Best Performance from Tyler Decker Leads Hanover over Walsh
Tyler Decker produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hanover to the win on Saturday. Decker threw for 141 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (-8) he has had since back in September of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 0.5 sacks and making eight total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
