Petersburg extended the longest winning streak in 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 2 (6 Man) this week by beating Crowell, 33-26. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Spur suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 64-41 loss to Spur. The Bulldogs had been ranked 22nd, but fell to 29 following the defeat.
Paducah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dragons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cody Austin has thrown for 225 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Austin Parton has nine catches for 298 yards. Oscar Mathis leads the league in rushing with 466 yards.
Spur took down Rotan 64-41 last week, the largest margin of any game.
