Bethel and Hampton are an even 5-5 against one another  since January of 2018, but  not for long. The Bethel Bruins will head out on the road to  face off against  the Hampton Crabbers at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bethel is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
 Last Thursday, Bethel came up short against Denbigh  and fell  54-43.
 Meanwhile, Hampton came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with nine straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gloucester 86-38 at home. Hampton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  matches by 22  points or more this season.
 Hampton's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Malik Johnson, who  scored 16 points, and   Daron Baugh, who  scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abraham Taft, who  scored nine points along with five  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Bethel now  has a losing record at 10-11. As for Hampton, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2.
 Bethel lost to Hampton on the road  by a decisive  63-46 margin  in their previous meeting  back in January. Can Bethel avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
