This season hasn't been kind to the Brandon Eagles, who are still winless after their 17th matchup. They were outmatched by Jesuit on the road and fell 81-28. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brandon in their matchups with Jesuit: they've now lost four in a row.
Jesuit's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Julian Parker, who scored seven points along with eight assists and six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Parker posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Ayden Hewitt, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Brandon's loss was their 16th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Jesuit, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Brandon will head out on the road to challenge Hillsborough at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jesuit, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Plant at 7:30 p.m. Plant is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
