On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Ridgefield's defense and their six sacks. Jackie Bucci was especially locked on to Westhill's QB and sacked him twice. Trevor Chojnacki was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Ridgefield's record now sits at 3-4. As for Westhill, they now also have a losing record at 3-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers challenges Greenwich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
