Bay Path RVT's game  on Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Wednesday. They never let the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles get on the board and left with  a   4-0  win. This was a revenge game for the Minutemen: when they faced off against the Eagles  back in April, they had to take a  5-3  defeat.
 Dale Nussey made a splash no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April.
 Nussey wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Josh Hemingway, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
Bay Path RVT has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record  this season.
 Bay Path RVT and Advanced Math & Science Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Minutemen will  face off against  Burncoat  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday with a big rank  advantage  (68 vs. 270). Meanwhile,  Advanced Math & Science Academy (ranked 90th) will meet Worcester Tech (ranked 272nd)  at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday.
