Todd County Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alexis Taylor, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. The game was Taylor's 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Shemwell, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals.
Cumberland County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Todd County Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.
Cumberland County will look to defend their home court on January 16th against Clinton County at 6:00 p.m. As for Todd County Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Logan County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Logan County is ranked 95th, while Todd County Central is ranked 85th).
