Shades Valley (Birmingham, Ala.) took an early lead against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, Ala.) and held on for a 42-7 victory on Saturday.
The Mounties put up 21 points in the opening frame. Shades Valley scored on a touchdown pass by
RaShad Louie, a touchdown pass by Louie and a touchdown pass by Louie.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Louie in the first quarter, SV led 21-0 at the half.
The Mounties grew their lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. Shades Valley scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown.
Oak Mountain's only touchdown came on a 20-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
