On Friday Washington will take on Davenport West at 7:30 PM. Washington will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Washington have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put a hurting on Burlington to the tune of 61-21. Washington were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 3-47, which was the final score in Davenport West's tilt against Bettendorf last Friday. Davenport West were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-41.
Washington's victory lifted them to 3-5 while Davenport West's defeat dropped them down to 2-6. We'll see if Washington's success rolls on or if Davenport West are able to steal their positive momentum.
