Philip had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They got past Kadoka with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 12-8. After losing to Kadoka the last time they met, Philip decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. This was the first game for both teams, giving Philip a 1-0 record and starting Kadoka off at 0-1.
Next week, Philip take on Jones County/White River at 6:00 PM. As for Kadoka, they will face of against Faith.
