St. John's Christian Academy won the last time they faced Hilton Head Prep and Chandler Cumbie did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cavaliers won by a set and slipped past the Dolphins 3-2 with plenty of help from Cumbie, who had 36 kills, 14 digs, and four blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more kills the last 15 times she's played.

St. John's Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 17-25, 25-17, 25-21, 15-12.

St. John's Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Hilton Head Prep, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.
