In what's become a running theme this season, the Millennium Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Westview a 8-0 shutout. The victory was just what Millennium needed coming off of a 8-0 loss in their prior match.

Millennium has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season. As for Westview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millennium is on the road again on Monday and plays Verrado at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Millennium is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season. As for Westview, they will head out on the road to take on La Joya Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. La Joya Community's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
