Tri-County recap November 19, 2013
Blair Oaks extended the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week by beating Palmyra, 28-20. The victory was the 12th in a row for the team.
California and McCluer South-Berkeley played the most contested game in the league this week, with California eventually emerging with a 26-24 victory.
Osage's AUSTIN RILEY and JAKE ULMER led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback RILEY has thrown for 2,185 yards this season, while ULMER has 57 catches for 924 yards. Skyler Creed from Hallsville leads the league in rushing with 1,280 yards.
The top two teams in Tri-County will face off this week when first place California takes on second place Blair Oaks. Last week, the Pintos beat the Bulldogs, while Blair Oaks defeated the Panthers.
He has recorded 65 catches for 913 yards this year.
California made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,764 from 3,008. The improvement was largely due to a 26-24 victory over McCluer South-Berkeley last week.
