There's no place like home for Syracuse, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Morgan Trojans with a sharp 7-0 win on Thursday. With that victory, Syracuse brought their scoring average up to 2.8 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Morgan from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Taylee Hughes led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Syracuse pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Morgan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Syracuse will host Woods Cross at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ogden at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give Morgan their first taste of in-conference action this season.
