The Halifax Academy Vikings put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Lawrence Academy/Albemarle School 32-8. Considering Halifax Academy has won five contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Braxton Hammack, who rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown. Hammack hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for eight straight games.
Halifax Academy's win was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. As for Lawrence Academy/Albemarle School, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.
Halifax Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lawrence Academy/Albemarle School also has no future games currently scheduled.
