Lamesa put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles 63-27. While the Tornadoes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lamesa's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mariela Gonzales, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 steals. With that strong performance, Gonzales is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Taleesa Hope was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards.
