Grayson Bouwman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Fort Calhoun's points. Another player making a difference was Colby Bentley, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Sandy Creek lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ethan Shaw. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Oglesby, who scored a points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
Fort Calhoun is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Sandy Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
