 On Bullitt East's side,  Courtney Bass was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Katlyn McDonald, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 The  win  got Mercy back to even at 12-12. As for Bullitt East, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mercy will take on Fern Creek at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Bullitt East, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Oldham County at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
