Thornton found their leader in sophomore Kobe Stevenson, who to rack up 18 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stevenson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Deandre Higgs, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 boards.
Lemont has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points over those games. Thornton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-20.
