Timber Creek Regional extended the longest winning streak in West Jersey - Constitution this week by beating Cherry Hill West, 39-13. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Paul VI fell to St. Peter's Prep 61-24 last week, the largest margin of any game. Alec Vignola was a bright spot for the Eagles, as he threw for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 22 yards in the loss.
Paul VI's dynamic duo of Vignola and Irvin Charles proved to be unstoppable against the Marauders, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lonnie Moore helped Paul VI's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 70 yards.
Dan Williams provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Timber Creek Regional bested the Lions. He completed 16 passes for 333 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 1 yards. Williams' key target this week was Alan Butler, who caught 7 passes for 140 yards.
Justin Gonzalez made the biggest impact on defense this week as Rob Hinson's team bested Cherry Hill West. The 6-foot-1 senior racked up 1 sack.
The Chargers' Williams and Adonis Jennings have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Williams has thrown for 2,358 yards this season, while Jennings has 56 catches for 978 yards. Moorestown's Anthony Williamson leads the league in rushing yards with 866.
Timber Creek Regional's Jennings needs only 22 receiving yards against Kingsway to crack 1,000 for the season. So far this year, he has acheived 56 catches for 978 yards.
Accruing a total of 20 touchdowns this year, Vignola has thrown for 1,917 yards with 6 interceptions.
Seneca made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,577 from 7,631. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 27-6 victory over Cumberland last week.
