After a string of eight wins, the West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. The match between West Florida Baptist Academy and Christian Community wasn't particularly close, with West Florida Baptist Academy falling 56-39. West Florida Baptist Academy found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 25 to 7 on offense.
Olivia Pearce and Addison Johnson certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Pearce dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Johnson scored 14 points along with four steals. Johnson continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.
Christian Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from A.C. Caverly, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah Graham, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
West Florida Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Christian Community, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Hopefully South Haven Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Friday.
