Meanwhile, Green Canyon suffered their biggest loss since May 7, 2025 on Tuesday. They came up short against Sky View, falling 3-0. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
While Green Canyon was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-20.
Mountain Crest will need to focus on slowing down Griffin Blau, one of several Green Canyon players who made an impact when they last played. He had 13 digs and one assist. Blau has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times he's played.
Green Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Mountain Crest, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Mountain Crest hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 4.5 blocks per game. However, it's not like Green Canyon struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.8 blocks.
