Oakes waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Hankinson Pirates 59-44. This was payback for the Tornadoes, who suffered a 64-62 loss the last time these two teams met.

Oakes' victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Hankinson, their defeat ended a 17-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-1.

Oakes will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hankinson: the pair will be back at it again later today.
