Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Excel Christian Academy). They claimed a resounding 65-14 victory over the Geneva Classical Academy Knights. The Spartans have beaten the Knights the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Leading Excel Christian Academy to victory were Bianca Berbick and Analise DeJesus. Berbick dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards, while DeJesus dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten steals. Excel Christian Academy is undefeated when DeJesus posts five or more steals, but 8-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aysia Mertz, who posted three points and seven rebounds.

Excel Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive games.
