The Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 77-54 defeat at the hands of Halifax Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Kerr-Vance Academy has suffered since December 7, 2023.
Kerr-Vance Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being M.j. Wright, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tim Hudson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Thad Harris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Halifax Academy, scoring 33 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harris has scored all season. Landon Peoples was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Kerr-Vance Academy dropped their record down to 3-14 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Halifax Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-15.
