The Harrison Central Red Rebels won the last time they faced the Ocean Springs Greyhounds, and things went their way on Friday too. Harrison Central came out on top against Ocean Springs by a score of 55-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Harrison Central.
Harrison Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shaun Murray, who scored 14 points along with four steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Aujaylen Barron, who scored 16 points.
Harrison Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Ocean Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.
Harrison Central won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Jefferson Davis County at 2:00 p.m. on January 27th. Jefferson Davis County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Harrison Central is ranked 30th). As for Ocean Springs, they will head out on the road to challenge Biloxi at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
