Bayside has gone 9-1 against Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bears will challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Bayside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.
Bayside's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Palm Bay with a sharp 23-0 victory. The game marked the Bears' most dominant win of the season so far.

NICOLE GARCIA was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, BRIANNA DABBS was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was REESE MONTGOMERY, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two runs.
Bayside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .886. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Viera hit Heritage with a four-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Hawks, falling 12-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Heritage saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloey Dieter, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Bayside is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bayside has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .468. However, it's not like Heritage struggles in that department as they've averaged .508. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bayside got the 'W' in their previous meeting two weeks ago against Heritage by a conclusive 13-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
