Plainfield Central had to endure a 17-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They ended the year with a bang, routing the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors 62-42 on Thursday. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Schaumburg Christian lost, don't look at Lucas Bustamante. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 15 en route to 20 points and five steals. Bustamante's morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was David Saenz, who posted two points and five rebounds.
