Ralls has gone 8-2 against Hale Center recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Ralls will be playing at home against Hale Center at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Saturday, Ralls made easy work of Olton and carried off a 22-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jackrabbits.
Adyson Bartlett and Destiny Garza did most of the damage at the plate: Bartlett went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Garza scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Bartlett has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mercedez Alcala, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Ralls hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in ten consecutive games.
Meanwhile, while Hale Center put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Sudan. Hale Center blew past Sudan 11-0. The win was familiar territory for the Owls, who have now won four matches in a row.
Miella Anguiano was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Hale Center got a massive performance out of Sofia Gomez, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Bella Ruiz was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4.
Ralls' victory bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Hale Center, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
Ralls beat Hale Center 9-6 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will Ralls repeat their success, or does Hale Center has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
