Stuart W. Cramer and East Gaston are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Storm will take on the Warriors in a tournament on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Stuart W. Cramer comes in on nine and East Gaston on four.
Stuart W. Cramer saw some tournament action on Monday. Everything went their way against Bessemer City as they made off with a 9-1 win. Considering the Storm have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Stuart W. Cramer hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bessemer City struck out ten times.
East Gaston came out on top against Forestview on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run first inning. The Warriors walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Jaguars.
Cameron Barnette was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Barnette was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Stuart W. Cramer pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for East Gaston, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Stuart W. Cramer has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. However, it's not like East Gaston struggles in that department as they've averaged .434. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Stuart W. Cramer was able to grind out a solid victory over East Gaston when the teams last played back in February, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
