Arkport Central won against Addison on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bluejays beat the Hammondsport Lakers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Bluejays, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Arkport Central and bumps their season record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Hammondsport, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arkport Central will venture away from home to take on Avoca Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.42 runs per game on average), something the Bluejays will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hammondsport, they will square off against Jasper-Troupsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lakers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
