East Columbus took an ego-bruising defeat against South Columbus last Friday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Wednesday. On Wednesday, East Columbus secured a 18-12 W over South Robeson. The win was a breath of fresh air for East Columbus as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The victory bumped East Columbus' record up to 2-4. South Robeson are on a three-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-5.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. East Columbus will stay at home on Tuesday against West Bladen. As for South Robeson, they will face off against South Columbus.
