Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Roadrunners are ranked 927th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Brentwood School found their leader in sophomore JJ Lublin, who rushed for six yards and one TD, and also threw for 96 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Enzo Longhi was in the mix too, providing the Eagles with one score.
Brentwood School's run defense was locked in: Rosamond could only muster two yards per carry. The team can thank Longhi for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Brentwood School; they were averaging 3.8yards per carry per game earlier this season, but in their last three matchups they've fallen to only 4.9 per game.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Brentwood School, adding 19 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kruz Jackson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Brentwood School will have to contain Savian Sumlar as he made an impact in Don Lugo's last game. He rushed for 33 yards and one TD, and also threw for 200 yards on 16 of 24 attempts.
Don Lugo's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Brentwood School, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
