The Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners struggled with offensive rebounds on Tuesday (the Terra Ceia Christian Knights had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Pamlico Christian Academy fell 58-46 to Terra Ceia Christian.
Despite the loss, Pamlico Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Max Cruz, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cruz has scored all season. James Howard was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
It was another big night for Ryan Ange, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds for Terra Ceia Christian. Ange hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Dustin Carrow, who scored nine points.
Pamlico Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Terra Ceia Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Pamlico Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Washington Montessori at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Terra Ceia Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Mount Calvary Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Calvary Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
