Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Monterey County). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the North Salinas Vikings 56-0. Winning may never get old, but the Condors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

North Monterey County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off seven passes before the game was over. Crystal Derrer led the group effort, picking up five of those interceptions all by herself. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

North Monterey County's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for North Salinas, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Monterey County will challenge rival Pajaro Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Condors 7.1, the Grizzlies 4.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, North Salinas is set to square off against their familiar foe Seaside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
