Bentley Williams was a one-man wrecking crew for Rodriguez as he rushed for 264 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Dylan Burke, who threw for 39 yards and a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Wood lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kimani Dokes. Despite the final result, he rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 70 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Ford, who rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Rodriguez is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Wood, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 4-5.

As for Wood, they will be playing at home against Vacaville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vacaville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wood in California (Vacaville is ranked 169th, while Wood is ranked 424th).
