In what's become a running theme this season, Tri-Valley gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They breezed by Heyworth at home to the tune of 58-25. Given Tri-Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Heyworth is ranked 475th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley strolled past Prairie Central with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 48-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley.
Tri-Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, their win bumped their record up to 19-8.
