The Aquinas Fightin' Irish can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy  50-31 victory over Washington-Wilkes. This was payback for Aquinas, who suffered a  45-41  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Aquinas got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Anna Kate White out in front who  scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was  Elizabeth Elliot, who  scored 12 points.
 Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Washington-Wilkes, they have  been struggling recently, as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
 Aquinas will head out on the road to face off against Fox Creek at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Washington-Wilkes will be home for the holidays to greet  Jasper County at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
