Gateway to Health Sciences and the are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. After both having extra time off, both teams will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 4:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Gateway to Health Sciences is no doubt hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Monday, Gateway to Health Sciences was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-43 to the Jaguars.
Meanwhile, Law Enforcement & Public Safety's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their third straight defeat. They took a 67-50 bruising from Pathways College Prep. While losing is never fun, Law Enforcement & Public Safety can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 419th, while the Trailblazers are ranked 126th).
Gateway to Health Sciences' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Law Enforcement & Public Safety, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Gateway to Health Sciences was taken down by the 67-34 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Gateway to Health Sciences avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
