The Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Tabernacle Torches at 6:30 p.m. Tuscaloosa Home Educators will be strutting in after a win while Tabernacle will be coming in after a loss.
Tuscaloosa Home Educators had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 34-30 W over Tuscaloosa Christian on Tuesday. The victory was just what Tuscaloosa Home Educators needed coming off of a 46-21 defeat in their prior matchup.
Tuscaloosa Home Educators' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Amelia Arsenault, who scored 12 points, and Lanie Westerberg, who scored 14 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Arsenault has scored at least 25% of Tuscaloosa Home Educators' points.
Meanwhile, Tabernacle came up short against Cornerstone Christian last Friday and fell 40-33.
The losses dropped Tuscaloosa Home Educators to 3-5 and Tuscaloosa Christian to 0-2.
Everything went Tuscaloosa Home Educators' way against Tabernacle in their previous meeting back in January of 2021 as Tuscaloosa Home Educators made off with a 54-33 victory.
