Wendover's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Damian Rodriguez led the charge by scoring 15 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawn Duboise, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams lost, one person who can't be blamed is Andre Loya. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Wendover now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
